Alabama State Hornets Prepare for a Winning Season

Previous 2016 SWAC champions are gearing up for, what they hope they hope to be, yet another successful year.

The Alabama State University Hornet’s baseball team is just two short weeks away from the opening of their season, on Feb. 15, where they will take on the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff. Being previous SWAC champions head coach Jose Vazquez, who was once named coach of the year, says “that absolutely makes us a target for teams, but that’s why we’re preparing for it now.”
